Robert Eckhart在俄亥俄州立大學(xué)任教超過20年，2013-2015年擔(dān)任俄亥俄州立大學(xué)綜合ESL課程執(zhí)行主任，領(lǐng)導(dǎo)50名教師為數(shù)千名學(xué)生提供教學(xué)服務(wù)。他曾為美國本土學(xué)生和國際學(xué)生講授寫作和中級論文寫作，為法律預(yù)科生講授法律寫作，為國際研究生、MBA學(xué)生、法學(xué)院碩士生、醫(yī)療中心博士后和研究人員提供英語溝通與寫作教學(xué)。他有超過15年為中國著名大學(xué)提供英語能力提升的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)和實踐經(jīng)驗。在俄亥俄州立大學(xué)，多年來他積極為中國留學(xué)生提供專業(yè)而貫通文化差異的服務(wù)，深受中國留學(xué)生喜愛。

講座內(nèi)容：

Cross-cultural communication is like a game and all games have rules. The way to be successful is to learn the rules of the game according to the target culture you'd like to communicate in. The Performed Culture Approach (PCA) to language teaching and learning offers a wonderful perspective for being a more effective communicator across different cultures. I will explain the PCA and offer you 8 tips for improving your communication.
