講座人介紹：

Dr. Kay Siebler 有35年的教學(xué)經(jīng)歷，線上線下教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)豐富，課程覆蓋面廣，從本科階段的寫作入門到研究生階段的教學(xué)與研究。2013-2014年曾在我校外國語學(xué)院擔(dān)任兩校友好院校項(xiàng)目交流教師。2008年至今，她在美國密蘇里西部州立大學(xué)擔(dān)任教授。她的研究和發(fā)表集中在教學(xué)、媒介分析和教育政策等方面。

講座內(nèi)容：

Teachers at all levels are being asked to conduct some or perhaps all of their classes in an online environment. This lecture/discussion offers interesting and creative ways in which teachers can make personal connections with their students even in a digital environment. It also addresses unique generational issues of current traditional students (those born in the Digital Age) and what they expect, know, want and need from their professors. This lecture will give educators practical tips on how to best appeal to people of the Digital Generation and what works or doesn't work to engage these unique students.
