王愷順，北京師范大學(xué)教授，主要從事代數(shù)組合論研究，公開發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文110余篇，主持多項國家自然科學(xué)基金，入選2008年度教育部新世紀(jì)優(yōu)秀人才支持計劃， 獲得2010年度教育部自然科學(xué)獎二等獎（第3完成人）。現(xiàn)任北京師范大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)科學(xué)學(xué)院院長、中國工業(yè)與應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)會圖論組合及應(yīng)用專業(yè)委員會委員、中國數(shù)學(xué)會組合數(shù)學(xué)與圖論專業(yè)委員會委員、《數(shù)學(xué)進(jìn)展》編委。

講座內(nèi)容：

Pooling designs were originally introduced by Dorfman in 1943 as a potential approach to economically screen soldiers with syphilis during World War II. There are many applications such as blood testing, chemical leak testing, codes and DNA screening. In this talk I shall introduce the development on the construction of pooling designs.
